Day 57, June 13: Zero in Bishop
Start: Bishop
End: Bishop
Miles: 0
Ascent: 0 | Descent: 0
The agenda for the zero included typical chores- resupply, fix gear, eat, relax. After getting coffee and a bite of food, I walked to Vons to get food. I saw many familiar hiker faces there and got my shopping done relatively quickly. Greg was driving around town with his dogs and generously gave me a ride back into town, which I was grateful for as the day was getting hot.
After organizing my food, coating my clothes in permethrin to help with the mosquitos, relaxing and catching up on my blog, it was time to eat dinner. Greg and his wife Geri treated me to a delicious Thai dinner near the Bishop airport, and we had a great time catching up. Greg had heard from my mom that I was a pool shark so we went to the same bar as last night, but it was crazy packed so we ended up leaving and saying goodnight. I was asleep by 8:30.
